I put it on a Cub Cadet LTX1046VT and the blades fit great but the plug needed a little help to make work. The plug fit fine but on the front where the bar is supposed to hook into a hole in the bracket, well how the bracket was designed there is no hole. The bracket just dips down under the bar so I ended up using a thick zip tie and held that there. Then the back part is supposed to clip onto a bolt but my deck didn't have a bolt there either. I drilled a hole and put a bolt through and then screwed the included wingnut on there but that only took a few minutes. I also removed the deflector shield to so I can squeeze the mower through tighter spaces in the yard and not worry about hitting it on things.
Update: The mulching kit still works okay but as it's cooled down here and rained a bit more the grass has gotten thicker/longer in between mowings so it's actually started to push the plug out causing clumps of grass to sit on the yard. I'm not 100% sure how I can fix this without having to drill another hole in the plug and deck but the plastic clip on the back end of the deck. I'm not sure if this is because I'm using it on a Cub Cadet or if other mowers would have the same issue too since the plastic clip just bent on mine.
I used a flat file to remove the paint from the cutting edges.
I then used a Smith knife sharpener on the edges.
Install was so easy my wife did it all (can't bend my knee).
We used a jack to left up the front of the mower amd pnuematic impact to remove and install blades.
The blades are so quiet that I had to ensure they were spinning.
It is the first time that the blades were so quiet I could not hear them turning.
They cut fantastic.
Worked great!!! Because we have bermuda grass, we have to have it at a longer length during the winter months. Because of that, I wasn't able to drop down the blades as far as I normally would if I was cutting the grass in the summer months.
Even with the blades set at a higher height, they worked like a charm.
Delivery was fast. Installation was a little tricky. Thankfully our friend had a powerful hammer drill that got the blade bolt off in no time.
Taking off old blades and putting on the new ones took approximately 3 minutes.
So glad we decided to go with this mulch kit and would recommend it for anyone thinking of doing it.
We put this on our Cub Cadet 1045 LTX

Plug has me questioning “genuine” product. Once you tighten the plastic wing nut it bulges the plug at the bottom therefore grass is pushing through and it’s a mess. It doesn’t properly do what it’s supposed to. Sharp blades would be nice and just coat them with a coating for shipping for safety. Some sort of fixation on the bottom curved edge is needed for this to work. I don’t recommend this particular product gotta be better quality stuff out there.
